I have really enjoyed reading and allowing this book to marinate and simmer in my mind.Things i will tell my daughter is a thought provoking and awe-inspiring book that every Kenyan lady especially in their 20’s and 30’s will enjoy and relate to.Joan uses personal stories of her life and experiences to demystify areas of womanhood, love, money and motherhood.

“The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn” Alvin Toffler.

This knee-slapping book is an opportunity for all women to dig deep as Joan gently calls them out to see themselves and areas of their lives that really have to change if they really desire a happier fulfilled life. She gives an opportunity to learn, unlearn and relearn. She tackles subtle belief systems that have been ingrained into the 21st century woman allowing her to see what really matters.
